I love them all, undeniably. One of the finest discographies available from a band.

To choose one over the others is a tough descision, but I reckon I'll settle with "Blessing in Disguise" as it has my favorite track on it -Lullaby in Winter, I believe it's called. Though I'm terrible for remembering titles.

Unfortunatley, I have not had a chance to hear the "Acousting Verses" yet. Can you tell me: is that album acoustic versions of songs previously recorded for the other albums, or does it comprise of new material?

Thankyou.

I voted "The accoustic Verses". It is new songs if I am not mistaken. It's a great album, it flows well. I love Light of Day too, it's put it in second place, and then A Blessing in disguise with the excellent Myron and Cole

Light of Day, Day of Darkness such a long great song. It all flows together really well and even though it's an hour long it's able to keep my attention the entire time because new ideas are always comming in aswell as reoccurring themes throughout the entire song which is what makes it so great.

personally I dont know whats so special about "Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness" I did listen to it a few times, and one of them actually following the lyrics and to be honest I thought it was just a really long song, but I wasnt that impressed at all.

Acustic Verses are by far my favorite album by them, and its number 2 on my favorite acustic albums (12:5 by Pain of Salvation is number one of course =P) I thought it was very well composed both the lyrics and the music, and their performance was just flawless

Light of Day, Day of Darkness and The Acoustic Verses are both in my top-5 albums by ANY band.. Their other albums are all good too, but I can't separate those two. Voted for the former, anyway.

It is very close between acoustic verses and a blessing but I voted for a blessing because I think it reaches perfection. The peak of Green Carnation's career for me.

The Quiet Offspring is my personal favorite. Last year my room mate and I would listen to it almost everyday when we were cleaning the place up. Maybe it is more personal memories, but it is still such a solid album.

Light of Day, Day of Darkness. Definitely. Then Journey to the End of the Night. These are on top of the best albums I've ever heard. The quality of their following releases wend rapidly down (well, my personal feeling). Blessing in Disguise is still good album with some great songs. I don't like The Quiet Offspring. I've really tried to get into it, but I still think, it's just an average album, nothing special. Acoustic Verses is nice, relaxing listening.
I'm desperately looking forward to their next release, which should be a sequel to Light of Day, Day of Darkness and I hope, they'll return to the incredible, complex and majestic tunes of that album.

Hi,
as far as I know nothing clear and certain. According to Tchort the album will be very dark and heavy.

No, sorry, but actually, I think it wouldn't be too hard to tell from the music. It aren't growls, you know? (Haven't heard the song, so maybe they are, lol)
