Hey guys!
I was looking around in my room the other day and behind evrything i found an old learner's guitar I totally forgot about it. I really had no clue what to do with it. The guitar looks like it's had alot of history and it's fairly beaten up. So I thought to my self should i sell it or keep it?
I was in the market for a new guitar but now i had this idea to Pimp My gauitar and maybe make it into a party guitar or somthing cool. Just fixing it will cost the same as buying a new guitar so i thought I might give it a go!
Has anyone here ever made a guitar or ever do somthing like this?

Not really but I plan on "Pimping" both my acoustic ones(The older one's become hardly useable :| )

Well I guess putting new strings for starters(steel on the Stagg and nylon on the old one)then probably find a place where they paint cool graphics and do 'em up real nice,possibly change the pegs and if I get some cash left from all this maybe get a nice bag to carry them around

thats real nice i hope it turns out well!
im gonan do evrything possible to my guitar i hope.
re string, replace the neck, replace pickups and electronics and new paint job and new scratch board hehe the only thing that will remain is the actual body shape

I always thought it cool to have guitars with different stuff as their body. like, one with the shape of a woman's hips and chest, or... i don't remeber right now the ideas i've had. if i remeber them i'll post them later, but i think you ge what i mean

I have seen gun guitars, axe guitars, pizza box guitars many sorts or guitars , one i saw a guitar just like a neck of one and a guy playing it hehehe

So Rozz man, any progress on that guitar by any chance?
I also see no reason why making/having a transperant guitar filled with piss wouldn't work, most of the electronics are in a small enough area that the majority of the guitar could be segregated and filled with urine. Now, put some floaters in there and Metallica is set..would fit their music just fine.
