Mithras is more than "safe". I know that Mithras will be one of the best bands of the festival for me, being my favourite there.

I went to deathfest at this venue, were on earth are they going to put the 3rd stage I wonder, there were only 2 stages at deathfest.

At the UK Deathfest - the main stage there (that Vader, Akercocke, etc. played on) is the second stage at Damnation.
The main stage at Damnation is probably an extra half of the size of that stage added on and the room is much bigger. The second stage at Damnation is the UK Deathfest main stage, and so the third stage at Damnation is that tiny hole that Infected Disarray, etc. played on at the Deathfest.

Oh yeah... it says on the ticket starts at 1 pm and ends at 11 pm...

There will still be tickets at the door, I guess? The previous editions weren't sold out or close to being sold out, were they?

I will be there with Hellfest team (we will be 3).

We will be in London the friday and will go to Leeds saturday. What's the best way to go to Leeds from London?

Maybe someone go there by car?

If things turn out nicely, I'll rent a car with a few mates who are in Cambridge at that time. Maybe a mate from Romania and Saitenhexerin from this page gonna go with us as well. But that's Cambridge. If you wanna go from London, coaches might be a better idea. 3 persons from London to Leeds and back would cost only 42 quid with Megabus.

I really wouldn't risk not buying a ticket before you get there.
Will be nice to see all you again, and meet Saitenhexerin if she goes.

So basicaly it will be terrorizer stage until electric wizard start and then jagermeister until akerocke start and then terrorizer to the end... seems simple enough day to me.

Shame Nazxul only have 35 minutes. Their new album is really good.

Just printed out my ticket. Now all I need to do is get to Leeds somehow. Anyone going from or via Cambridge or from the surrounding area? If there's two more of us we could rent a car which would make the trip a lot cheaper than by coach.

The worst thing for me is the clash between Negura Bunget and Electric Wizard... that sucks...
Why don't they take some of these rock/alternative/post-rock/whatever bands at the end of each stage and fit them between the metal bands so one can see all of the good metal bands!!??

By the way, anybody seen Negura Bunget after they changed their line-up? I wonder if they are still as good as they were...

I heard that live they are still ood, and why shouldn't they be tbh, since these guys have played te songs a gazzillion times as well. I am however in majore doubt how their new material will turn out since the creative forces behind the band have left.

Oh thanx .. I guess I didn't look carefully But now having looked, I think there is a clash, for about 15 minutes, between Negura Bunget and The Gates of Slumber; presuming that the timetable goes as planned and the two stages are not far from each other (around 5 minutes).

I think it's a side project of Bill Steer of Napalm Death and Carcass. But for Jeffrey Walker, I don't think he is involved in this one.

It wasn't the best festival ever, but I certainly had a good time. If you hold on for 10 more minutes, I'll have the full review with pictures on.
