I preferred Hooper since he was a prime component of the 3IoB sound, i wish he didn't leave the band as it was a treat to listen to him and Pipes trading vocal lines back and forth and then harmonizing brutal choruses like on Crazy Nights or Goatrider's Horde, or the classic "Pipes screams something which fades into Hooper's scream" move like on Destroy The Orcs. my only objection with Hooper is that i can rarely understand what he's saying.

conclusively i feel this weird emptiness when i listen to their last album, it's great, but i believe they should have used Hagberg's vocals more extensively at least.

While I agree more harsh vocals would have been better, I quite enjoy these ones, the wider contrast between them makes the whole listen a little less shrill. 'Silent Killer' and 'Snake Fighter' are 2 of the best examples of the cool new contrast. This could also be because I find the new album as a whole sounds better than anything they've done to date, I think I'm one of the few.
