Where I live we where always one year after with everything. It probably was difficult getting albums distributed to us so 1994 was very much Icon for me.
Hey, everyone.
Lately I've grown quite a taste for more trippy/spacey, psychedelic stuff in my metal, some groove even. I'm already a big fan of Cathedral, Sleep, Tiamat and Agents of Oblivion (as well as Acid Bath, which have their groovier moments) and am getting quite into Corrosion of Conformity (their last album is awesome). As for psychedelic rock, I like Pink Floyd and Spiritualized, but I'd like some more weight.
I'd like to know if you guys could recommend me some good psychedelic metal bands (stoner or not).
Black and Death doom. Really goes well if you want to trip. Just not too fast metal.
Haven't really heard much psychedelic black/ death doom. In fact, most of that stuff is too far from being psychedelic. Please give some recommendations for black/ death doom with psychedelic traces.
I knew only one band before that used to play a psychedelic version of evoken, but forgot their name now.

The user who created that list was !J.O.O.E.! but he deleted his profile here in this site
and when an user deletes his profile all his lists are deleted too.
So you cannot find it anymore...

I like Spiritualized/Sonic Boom and Tiamat too. I feel good listening to Ghost songs. I know it's more new wave oriented (maybe, I'm not good in tagging genre sorry), but sonorities of instruments, how they alternate the notes, are unique. If you like Spiritualized voice, I think you'll like them too :-) Let me know, as I'm curious ^^
