What is that one CD you have, that is not metal, that is one of your most favorites?
One that you believe belongs in everyone's collection.

For me it is Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
I love how the entire album sounds and feels, David Gilmours playing is full of emotion.
The song Wish You Were Here touches me every time I hear it, takes me back to when my father passed away...
Dark Side Of The Moon may be more popular, but for my ears, this is one of the greatest albums ever.

What is yours?

The soundtracks of Les Misérables

Have you heard a musical version? There are some recordings around. Chances are, you'll like them much more. The casting of the 2012 movie was ridiculous, especially Russell Crowe can't sing at all (not that he can act very well, either), so why the hell cast him in the central role of a musical? Hugh Jackman was pretty lame, too.

Anne Hathaway did a really good job, though.

Yes, I've listened to quite a few of the musical versions. My favorite is the 10th Anniversary Cast.

I agree with most of what you stated, although I must add that I thought that some of the non-main cast was really good, like Aaron Tveit, Samantha Barks (though I thought she was better in the 25th Anniversary Cast), and pretty much everyone else involved in the Friends of the ABC.

Ooh, hard one... Immediately it would be Jethro Tull's Thick as a Brick. Flows amazingly and has brilliant lyrics, instrumentation and production.
