Therion - New Album Title And Tracklist Revealed

The short following update was issued on the Therion's official website:
"I'm happy to announce that Therion are now entering the later phases of the recording of the new album, which will be mixed at the legendary Polar Studios in Stockholm.
The album title will be Sitra Ahra. 13 songs are being recorded, but it is at this moment not certain which, or if all, of those will end up on the actual record.
Oh, and Therion is going to Graspop!

Swedish metallers Therion recently completed work on their new album, Sitra Ahra. They have now announced that the album will feature the following tracklisting:
01. Introduction/Sitra Ahra
02. Kings Of Edom
03. Unguentum Sabbati
04. Land Of Canaan
05. Hellequin
06. 2012
07. Cú Chulainn
08. Kali Yuga III
09. The Shells Are Open
10. Din
11. Children Of The Stone: After The Inquisition
Sitra Ahra was mixed by Lennart Östlund who commented: "What you have made here is truly unique". The album was mastered in New York and is expected to be released in September. Further details to follow.

Can't wait, I hope it will be amazing and something fresh and new, like all od their albums so far. Wish we would get some info who is participating with the band/Johnsson on this one.

Less filler material, more 8 or 9 lengthy, epic songs. It's the problem I had with their 2 disc releases. One minute intro/instrumental tracks are a waste of space.

Looks awesome, the presence of a Kali Yuga Part III might signal a return to the Sirius B/ Lemuria days, although I was among those who thought Gothic Kabbalah was the dog's bollocks. Although a song named 2012? Bit of a lapse in creativity there.
