Really? It's somewhat to calming to listen when in rage.

Depends on how I feel...I somehow seem to remember the song that has lyrics that suit the situation I am in (more or less)...
Pantera is often a band that I listen to when I'm pissed, Testament, Dimmu Borgir etc...

It really depend on what kind of pissed off, and what kind of effect i want from it.
Emperor is a usual choice, Empty really gets the adrenaline pumping.
But if i need to calm down, Katatonia, they relax me if im pissed.

I usually listen to something along the lines of Ravencult of Arckanum.

Lots of fast angry thrash! Old Sepultura, Sabbat, Slayer etc. depending on what i'm pissed off about. I also listen to quite a bit of Pantera and Strapping Young Lad.

I would let the dude find this out by himself

When I'm pissed off... I try to get un-pissed off quickly.

This usually helps:

Meshuggah, Nile, Decapitated....the like.

Thats depend on wat kind of pissed off
i just listen to any favorite band & " they r many " to calm me down

Possessed, Sodom or Kreator

Nargaroth. Angry black metal with a sense of atmosphere.
EDIT: Cryptopsy too. The perfect band for anger.

Lunar Aurora's Andacht album (particularly Findling) is good for anger, regret, and the like.

All thrash metal, specially that from Slayer...

Power metal, cause it always makes me laugh.

Most of the time I usually find myself listening to Nattestid Ser Porten Vid by Taake (which is black metal) whenever I'm really pissed about something. It's still an awesome album to listen to when I'm in a great mood as well.

If im pissed or just hyped up in general cant go past Crytopsy: none so vile. Such a brilliant CD technically too

Prog? ahah I don't know actually. I think I do other things besides listening to music when I'm angry.

If I'm in a situation where music is nearby when I'm angry, I'm probably going to put on some grindcore.

Lamb Of God, Aborted and Cannibal Corpse all work pretty good for me when I'm pissed off
