Into Eternity - New Album On The Way

Canadian metallers Into Eternity have issued the following update on their MySpace blog:

"A few days ago I checked my mail and was happy to find out Toy's Factory had sent me the Japanese releases of our last 2 releases: The Scattering Of Ashes and The Incurable Tragedy! It's nice to know that we have such great industry people and fans supporting us in Japan. I will never forget the great times we had in 2008 and 2009. Japan rules!

In other news, we have started rehearsals again and things are coming along. We have also started on "song 1". I have lots of music demoed at home now, so we are looking through it and starting our first new song. So far the song starts with an arpeggio instrumental and then heads into some heavy riffing.

Thanks for all the emails we have been getting wondering what is going on, well here it is. Thanks again to Japan for all the continued support!"

Yeah, it really was a letdown. I hope it will sound more like Oblivion and Ashes.

I don't know why people were so disappointed with The Incurable Tragedy. I thought it was a pretty good album, not inferior to any other IE release. It also grew on me and after a while, I was understanding the album and appreciating it more.

Good news about the good album by the way. But I'm afraid we still have a lot of waiting to do.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty good too. A lot like Scattering the Ashes, actually... but a little on the short side. Needless to say, I anticipate their new release.

I Like Scattering too. I thought it was a good step for them. Although I can understand why not everybody will find that album enjoyable. It's not an easy album, I feel.

From what I've heard from people who don't like their more recent stuff usually get annoyed with Stu Block's vocals. Personally, I kinda dig them.
