Definitely among the best albums of the year. Rosetta are pushing the boundaries of metal once again, practically raising it to a form of art. Brilliant release through and through!

An exceptional album...spoiled by one 3 in the rating system! Bahh...why do some Metal Storm users have to dispute avant-garde? This is one of the better AG albums this year.

Anytime I see Rosetta on the big board I come callin'!

Yes, this is a great album. The second track, Je Nen..., the best song on the cd, has one of the most beautiful intros I have ever heard!

I love the clean vocals and equally adore the heavy and the calm parts, quite the journey !

If you had ckecked out Rosetta's entire discography until this point, when you first heard the clean vocals, it was a crap-your-pants moment. At least it was for me!

This was actually my first Rosetta album, I've been going through their back discography and now I'm enjoying Wake Lift a lot.

EDIT : after giving this album some proper listens I discovered that this is worth no less than a 9

I enjoyed this one way more than their latest album,

I actually disagree with this. I think Rosetta's newest is far more intricate and contemplative, with some harsher moments appropriately interspersed at exactly the right times. It has been awhile since I listened to this one, however; I'll have to check it out.

I actually think this is my least favourite Rosetta release. For me, Rosetta are always better when they are moving from harsher dynamics to melodic dynamics, and the clean vocals here are sometimes quite disappointing. Even then, it's a solid 7.
