What Black and Death metal albums still need to be rereleased?

Labels seem to be reissuing old metal from the black and death metal from the 90s more than they release genuinely good new stuff. There's fairly few albums from the 90s that are worth listening to and aren't still available in some format. What reissues were u glad to see finally come out and what albums are left that really need to be made available again?

A few that I'd like to see come out:
Obtained Enslavement - Centuries of Sorrow.
Gorguts - Obscura (Why hasn't this happened? Anyone?)
Decomposed - Hope Finally Died
The Chasm - Procreation of the Inner Temple

This has been on my mind after seeing that the Vinterland reissue is actually out now. People have been talking about this for 4 or 5 years. Was getting sick of seeing threads about it until I found that one said it was actually out.

I hate re-mastered reissues. If you want to reissue an album fair enough but leave the production alone. Old Emperor, as some have suggested, would be awful re-mastered. You'd lose the whole atmosphere of those albums.

Emperor's and Mayhem's entire back catalogue, but no remasters of their early work.

Why do you want them re-released? They're still easy to get hold of.

Not for me?I keep searching at the local music store that I know would carry those records. And amazon.com isn't exactly a place I prefer to shop on. Or any online music store that only accepts credit cards..

Personally, I'd love to see the rerelease of Sororicide's extremely rare debut "The Entity". I downloaded it sometime ago, and I fell in love with it almost instantly. One other reason why I want it to be rereleased is because I don't want to spend $2000 for a copy on eBay.

That price was only paid for it once on ebay and another time it was 600, which are both totally ridiculous prices considering the amount of vinyls and cd's pressed and sold and also although it's good it's not THAT great.

They should also release one of my favorite albums, Pod Vladou Bice. It's so hard to find it's not even funny.

It pops up on eBay from time to time, Willowtip Records was actually selling a few copies of Pod Vladou Bice a while ago for 11$, I was fast and grabbed a copy maybe they still have some of them in stock.

EDIT: Out of stock

No, that album has the best production for the kind of death metal it shows. No bullshit modern death metal that lacks balls. Clearly a hoemga to good old Entombed.

I know it's not Death or Black Metal but Thrash, however I think Morbid Saint - Spectrum of Death needs a re-release.

But their riffs are Very Modern and Melodic. I prefer it to be "Over-Produced".

I only like raw recordings for Thrashy/Punkish stuff.

And Ressurection throug carnage is DIGITAL sounding. It's shit. Live recording through a portable tape recorder may be better.

Don't see how modern they are tbh, they sound like they clearly come from Entombed's first two albums.

I dont think the riffs are modern as they are similar to riffs that Entombed (Mostly) /Dismember/Unleashed/Grave where doing about 10 years beforehand, Bloodbath are a tribute to old school Swedish DM... nothing modern about it IMO.

IMO Over production in DM takes away a lot of the balls and aggression that makes it worthwhile in the first place.... IMO its supposed to sound rotten, morbid and rough. Also Considering DM has roots in Both Thrash and Punk id say raw recordings suit it well.

Four albums off the top of my head that I have had a really tough time finding for less than some ungodly amount on eBay:
Cock and Ball Torture-Opus(sy) IV (Found a vinyl of this on relapse, but can't find the cd for less than $45 used).
Stabwound-Malicious Addiction (I never expect this to actually be re-released, but it would be nice)
Cadaver-...In Pains...This is weird since I think it was released by Earache, as opposed to some unknown label.
Mortal Decay-A gathering of human artifacts...they go through the trouble of actually remastering all three demos, and then make the album impossible to find.

There's 2 CD reissues. Roadrunner did one about 6 years ago as a 2CD set (both Exhorder albums) and it's been reissued by itself. Ebay it.

Agreed. I love the sound on Resurrection Through Carnage and I was kind of disapointed the albums after it didn't have a similar sound.

That buzzsaw sound of the guitars, its just killer. Gotta love the job Swano did on that release.
