I really love this one as well.
Saw them live at Doom Shall Rise 2009 and there they were even better than on album.
Will be seeing them again at Dutch Doom Days 2010 in the first weekend of November in Rotterdam

Nice ;] it's one of the albums I kinda wish everyone else knew about given its quality. Is their other stuff as good? I accidentally rated the self titled thinking it was this one. Haven't actually heard it.

The self-titled is the orignal recording which was never released at the time cause it sounds shit. It was orignally released as Salvation's Answer all the way back and that one is just superior to the self-titled.
All their releases come quite close in quality.
Although I put Release in my top 50 of the Naughties it could also easily have been 2009's For the Sake of No One Full
...Yet So Far is a bit weird compared to the rest of their discography cause the only actual Revelation member in that one is only Steve Branagan. The vocals there are done by Dennis Cornelius of Memory Driven, PLace Of Skulls and the bass was handled there by a very young Jim Hunter of Lord Vicar, October 31, Twisted Tower Dire, While Heaven Wept.
But it is still a above average album

Ah ok, in that case I'll definitely make a point of checking out For the Sake of No One. Anything near the quality of Release is always welcome. Cheers for the info ;]

Btw I deleted your self-titled vote, since you said you hadn't heard it and had mistaken it for Release.

Just now do I see the genre tag. What the bleep? It is doom metal with just some slight progressive touches, that's it.

Thanks for commenting and thus reminding me of this album. Such a greatly underrated band, this is clearly their best album. A doom metal gem with a little bit of prog thrown in for good measure.

Among their better ones, indeed. I also like ...Yet so far, my first album of them back at the time.
A first step for them to become more highly rated could be to make the band's profile visible on MS.
What's missing, band info?

Sadly enough, the only missing detail of major importance was that they have been silently laid to rest back in 2013...

About time to at least posthumously activate the profile, thanks for the heads-up.
