Australian Bands Tribute To "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott


The Art of Shredding - A Tribute to Dime is a tribute to Pantera's late great guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell, featuring Australian artists paying their respects the only way it should be done: LOUD! The Art of Shredding will contain 14 songs, 13 classic Pantera tunes and an original Dime tribute song by Sydney thrash band MurderWorld.

The complete line-up will be:

MurderWorld - Soul Inside Me

DarkStar Records projected release date for the album was August 20, 2006 to celebrate what would have been Dime's 40th birthday but delays with it have resaulted it the date pushed back and is undeclared. A percentage of the profits from the sale of this CD will be donated to the Dimebag Memorial Trust to help the families of those who are still suffering after the events of December 8, 2004.

Oh man, I bet Lord's version of Shattered is awesome. It can't not be. Some other good bands there too, might have to get that CD.
