At estonian festival called Hard Rock Laager 2007 on the last night while I was drinking and smoking hookah with some guys, we noticed a bearded young man with the artist pass, so this one guy asked him from which band is he from. The guy answered "Loits" (they're quite popular in Estonia) and the guy who asked him was like "No way you're from Loits, I bet you're from fucking Burnstill ( a young metalcore band that played first on the first day), the other guy was like "No I'm telling you I'm from Loits" so he was asked like "okay, if you're from Loits tell me the lyrics of [can't remember which Loits song] from start to finish" so the guy's like "I'm the fucking guitarist, I don't have to know the bloody lyrics" so he was asked the setlist, which he recited in (presumably) right order, and I said something like "anyone could name a couple of Loits songs in random order, and get away with it, because fucking no-one remembers the order of the songs played after a gig", anyway the guy got fed up with us after a while and wandered away. Later of course it turned out that he really was the guitarist from Loits . I may have a story about the Loits vocalist also, but I think I'm gonna keep it for myself for the time being, as I'm not 100 % sure whether the protagonist in that story really was Loits vocalist, or just a very similar looking guy.

Man... Seems like everyone knows In Flames..... Well, still nothing for me.

I shared few words with Heri Joensen....then I've occasionally met some musicians from Estonian groups.....that's basically all.....I've managed to get the autographs of Loits members, two of the Tyr members and from Lotta of Beseech........

Shook hands with Lee Dorian and Leo Smee from Cathedral, also got them both sign my "Hopkins" CD.

And of course some Estonian bands.

Tom Gabriell warrior walked right by me at a gig at sugars, face to face. did I get the name right? I also saw ozzy at niagra fallas with his dad the morning after a gig sabbath did at the convention centre . Van Halen opened for them during the technical ecstasy tour in 1978 or 79.

i have met members of local bands, but famous musician no one, long ago i was going to met all apocalyptica members, when they came to venezuela, but the security guards didnt allow me to enter there, i tried for an hour, i hope i could meet one someday

Oddly enough, only musicians (if you can call them musicians) I've ever met are DJs, my cousin and Jan Nemecek (he's popular in Serbia, he's younger than me), let's not count in people who play in some unknown bands.

Nyaahh, last month I met the guys from Napalm Death and they were all so nice except for Barney, he wasn't very nice, seemed like all he wanted was to leave asap, but the other guys were all about finding out the good places to drink and stuff. Grr and my friend still hasn't sent me the pics!

I met Nergal and Seth from Behemoth,Cris from Grave Digger and Blaze Bayley!!!But my biggest dream is to meet Abath!

The only one I can come up with is Michael Angelo Batio, whom I met at this years Wacken. He was walking out of his tent after a show, and we started talking. He was really cool, totally down to earth.

I've met many musicians from the majority of the bands I've seen. I met the guys from Skinless, I met Dallas Toler-Wade and Karl Sanders from Nile. I met Hypocrisy, Mike McKenzie from The Red Chord, All the guys from Through The Eyes of The Dead, and most importantly, I met Vitek and Coven of Decapitated. I have pictures with both.

I have met these ones: Neurosis (Colombia), Human Violence vocalist (Colombia), Underthreat lead guitar (Colombia), Dull Pain (Colombia - because I was the first drummer of the band - jajaja), Kraken vocalist (Colombia), and Threshold End vocalist (Colombia).

So, about international bands, I just met Apocalyptica in a signing session in Bogotá (Colombia) in an important mall. It was a preview for their performance in Rock al Parque 2007. They signed me some papers and a t-shirt. Great guys!

I met most of these bands due to the fact that we (Apothys) opened for them (Except Behemoth and Virgin Black). Pretty much everyone (except for most of the guys in Suffocation and Cryptopsy) were nice people to hang around.

Nevermore was some what distant, but they had a lot of issues going on at the time. They still had time to bullshit and give a great impression - especially since they're one of my top 10 favorite bands of all time.

Amon Amarth & Evergrey were awesome as hell to get drunk with. Behemoth & Virgin Black were extremely nice.

The musicians I really want to meet are Aaron & the rest of My Dying Bride.

I will be meeting/ hanging out with Epica in May. I hear they're another fun drunken band. Except they like to get naked apparently.

I've met all the members of Iron Maiden (except Nicko)

I met and know all the members of Lucifixion. I also met all the members of a punk band called Madina Lake.

Nergal, Orion, Seth & Inferno. The last two were quite cranky, haha.
Mick Kenney. Only found out a week later or so, that it was him.

A couple of local bandmembers of course, from bands lik Snatchin' Jenny, Misanthropia and Shadowlord. Also some dude from Non-Divine (not local, but still dutch).

Also, I was once standing next to a guy at a merchandise stand, and a couple of girls wanted to take a picture with him. So I thought to myself: why the fuck, he's nothing special. Then my dad said (yeah he was there): "hey, wasn't he on stage an hour ago?" and it turned out to be someone from Epica or Within Temptation.

The only band I have ever met was I met the metallica memebers at a concert a few years back when they were signing my Ride the Lightning album and I got everyone of them to sign my album!

I met all the guys from Behemoth when they were out here in December last year. Got photos with them too. Such a nice bunch of guys, stayed around until everyone was gone and made sure they spoke to everyone who stayed around to have a chat.
