I've been looking through my collection, and have noticed that most of the thrash bands i once thought were really heavy, fast paced and agressive seem kind of lame now. Does anyone know any thrash bands that have a more aggressive feel and breakneck pace than usual?

Very agressive thrash with some black metal vibes. Really good. Surprisingly this is a new band.

Also a bit on the blacker side, but still thrash as fuck and deserve a mention in any thread about aggressive thrash that takes itself seriously.

And it's also the most generic choice ever.

Not bad at all. I have to check it more because it's something I could really like. It borrows a lot from Black Metal. It also reminds me of Bolt Thrower's grindcore stuff ("In Battle There Is No law").

Also, check out Tyrant.

Which one? There's like a million of them.

This one is the best one I've heard, but they're not thrash (they sometimes sound a bit like Venom, and sometimes more just like trad. heavy metal):

It is indeed brutal but to enjoy this band you need to like core vocals. And it's unfortunately not my case.
It's sad that they use those vocals because otherwise I would like it. The music is good but I hate vocals way too much to enjoy the songs.

Yep same issue with me. The only thing i dislike about the album is the core vocals. It becomes stale after a certain point. but the sick riffs makes me wanna hear them again and again. Man i wish they had changed their vocals!!!
