Is Lunar Aurora really symphonic black metal? As far as i know it's raw black metal (dunno about newer stuff but older albums weren't symphonic) and quite boring too

Not real sympfonic lil whit sym. elements but generaly its black metal and good BM

Maybe with little symphonic elements (i haven't listened to LA very much) but obvious it's not the right band to be recommended to person that likes Dimmu Borgir or Anorexia Nervosa.
Is LA good or bad - it's just a matter or taste. For me raw black metal usually is too boring (except some bands) but maybe for you it's good.

OMG!
Windir and Lunar Aurora play in different styles! They both are black metal but very different black metal.
If you can name an album that has some similarity to Windir then be so kind and say it here (i doubt you will find one).

I know but thgay still are unique band it was like example windir and darkthrone are diferent, same like Mayhem and Lunar Aurora

Have you ever tried Valdr Galga - an album by Thyrfing?

And Gernotshagen would fit you too. It could be classified as "melodic black metal" but maybe you will like it too.

Ok, i haven't listened to LA newest albums. Maybe they are symphonic.
I used to listen LA long time ago and maybe i have forgot how does it sound but albums Weltengänger, Ars Moriendi and some other from that time weren't symphonic. Maybe they had keyboards on these albums but they weren't symphonic like Dimmu Borgir is (I hope you understood what did i mean).

Oh hell no. I know that. Regardless, they were (and still are) symphonic black metal, just not to such an extent like Dimmu.

Only Early works of Lunar Aurora are important leutehr albums are prity borainf , its like whit moust of metal bands

if you want to hear pure symphonic black metal check out hellveto. i've only heard a few songs by them, but from what i understand it's almost all orchestral. pretty decent stuff, too.

that's cool, thanks. i have this secret obsession with classical music that eventually led to me finding hellveto. there's just something about mixing the brilliance of classical music with black metal that gets to me.

Same I cans ay about Titan Mountain, in band home page are a lot of mp3 about 1 hour to lsitening

Have Profanum been recommended here? I think they're one of the top few acts of the Symphonic BM genre. Really extravagant without being over-the-top. They don't even use guitars btw.
