Melechesh has Arabic\Oriental influences in their music, and they are pretty damn good, I really enjoyed every each album, my favorite is Sphynx i think it's their masterpiece.
My favorite Melechesh albums by order:
1. Sphynx
2. Emissaries
3. The Epigenesis
4. Djinn
5. As Jerusalem Burns... Al'Intisar

I voted for Emissaries. It's just a complete masterpiece with crazy riffs that they will never be able to top, unfortunately.

Djinn. All their albums are good. But Djinn is the best beginning to end, imo. My favorite song is actually from As Jerusalem Burns, Assyrian Spirit. I never tire of hearing it.
Good call on making a Melechesh thread

Sphynx because it's not only creative, it's the most energetic of all of their albums. The older ones don't have the technical proficiency and the newer ones plod along. Obviously it's helped a lot by Proscriptor
