Sodom - Part Ways With Drummer
Hot on the heels of the release of In War And Pieces comes the news that Sodom has decided to end the cooperation between the band and long-time drummer Bobby Schottkowski.
Frontman Tom Angelripper and guitarist Bernemann released the following statement: "After personal and private problems between Tom and Bobby, was decided, by mutual agreement, the end of the cooperation between Sodom and the drummer Bobby Schottkowski. Tom and Bernemann will announce as soon as possible a replacement drummer. The shows from January will be performed as planned and the upcoming tour in February will take place in any case. Until then we will have incorporated the new drummer."

Weak, he was the only drummer Sodom ever had without a pseudonym. I always thought it was hilarious that Angelripper and Bernemann were playing along side a dude named bobby haha.

Oh shit... After all they've been through and after commemorating their shared experience and memories on two stellar DVD volumes. I just hope the reason was a good one, and that it would be a positive change for Sodom, bandwise and tourwise, though I can't see how Bobby was a problem.

Sounds more like he was kicked out than a mutual agreement, if you ask me. He disagreed with the frontman and the frontman kicked him out.
