Strange cybery-industrial black metal from 1998. Surprised I haven't heard this already. Sounds like video game black metal. Very interesting.

A really unique sound. In theory the keyboards should sound extremely cheesy but the songwriting is so clever that it turns the keys into a perfect layer for the catchy riffs.

Man, where did you get it? And the most important question: how much did you pay for it?

In a record store that sells both new and used stuff for a neat price in Copenhagen. It's in mint condition (might as well be new). 13 euros.

Gaming black metal at it's finest (only if you play games from 2000 or older!)
The keyboards and "choirs"- sounding synths in the middle of the first track are cheesy but in the best fucking way possible. Like gritty cheese!

Good mix of the quotes subdued in the murky atmosphere and I can definitely hear how this would influence the likes of Darkspace.

Yeah this is good. Interesting it has a much higher albeit niche rating here when compared to Discogs where The Rebirth Of The Middle Ages is scored higher. This one is definitely overlooked and most likely accepted more now.

Fair to say this is better than anything Samael ever accomplished. Some Minas Morgul/ Dol Guldur/ Nightshade Forests vibes but a more equal blend of combining medieval with cyber-industrial that those albums inclined more on the dungeon/ medieval side to the atmosphere touch.

Adding this to the Discogs want list that I'll make all on there as the last chance playlist to determine it's worth enough owning or forgetting.

Some of it is a bit goofy and campy, but for a 1998 one man band that's a bit expected. The songwriting is top notch and really saves the album from being goofy in a bad way instead of it adding to its charm.

This is the first time I've listened to something labeled "industrial metal". This very unique flavor of black metal that Godkiller has crafted here is very intriguing! Atmospheric moments, groovy riffs, symphonic elements, dungeon synth...
