Pry is alternative metal/grunge band from Novi Sad (Serbia), the band was formed by Zoltan Šimon (drums) and Arpad More (guitar), when they left their previous band 'Lonesome Night'. The plan was to make all of their ideas, which were circling in their heads for a few years, come to life. So the search for band mates began. Shortly after Tamara Dulić (vocals), Slobodan Stojaković (guitar) and Goran Zecević (bass) joined in, and the first songs began taking their form.
Finding a male singer took quite a long time, but eventually Danijel Kiš (vocals) joined in and the band recorded their first demo (promo CD). In May 2009 Slobodan left the band. Shortly after Bane Božanić (guitar) joined in introducing some new ideas. In summer 2009 Danijel left the band leaving Pry voiceless, but finally, in September 2009 Filip Maletić (vocals) joined in and Pry put their pieces back together.
In early 2010 they record their debut EP named From Morph... The EP is up for free download on their MySpace, but a hard copy is also available for 1e+shipping.
Since the release of their EP, the band has been gigging and composing new songs. They released music video for song 8 Circles. The recording of their first full-length album is planned to be finished in first half of 2011.

I just downloaded their EP, impressive work, reminds me of Alice in Chains as well, It's been a long time since I've heard some good Grunge\Alternative metal.
Yes, their EP is not so metal as it could be.
They are finishing recording in the studio, album will probably be out in January, I've listened to them couple of nights ago, they are now more heavy and progressive, and from their talk it seems that album will be quite something new, my favorite for now is song Indigo Eyes, with lots use of polyrhythms (i think that's the right word ), but also there are some songs that are just more grungy, and not so metal, anyway I think that most people listening to progressive/alternative metal and grunge should like it.:)
Anyway, Alice in Chains has it page, I don't see why Pry should not have one.:noidea: Maybe after releasing new CD they'll be "whitelisted".;D

The thing with Alice in Chains is the combination of grunge and alternative metal. If this new album contains actual metal elements I will remove them from the blacklist. Message me when the album is released and I'll check it out.
