I think bard song's good, but I like sacred worlds in the latest album much more. it's a mixture of mysterious songs and power metal!

I couldn't possibly choose only one! I could only say that the newest additions to the some of best liked songs are "Skalds and Shadows" and "Curse My Name". But I do not consider them to be better then others. As a matter of fact, I recently "picked up" some of the older songs and I listen to them right now.
They are, after all, one of my favourite bends ever!

I'm not a big fan of them... I like only 3 songs, Battlefield, Mirror Mirror and The Bard's Song... Finally I voted for Battlefield....

Not a big fan of the band, but have listened to a fistful of their albums... "When Sorrow Sang" has pretty much been my fave song of theirs. love the intensity, particularly given the ebb and flow of the album. it follows up a sad death piece and interlude like an angered friend wanting revenge and riding into battle.

I love Valhalla simply because the mythology behind it is very interesting.

Its a tough choice but I have to go with "And There was Silence." Everything about that song just feels right, the Bohemia Rhapsody-ish layered vocals, the fast paced guitars and drumming, and the more mellow parts.

Great band, saw them live recently, And Then There Was Silence was my vote, I'm surprised they played it live, it was an epic orgasm all over
Edit: Reading my post reminds me of "run-on sentences" I was taught about in school lmao XD

I voted for And then there was silence, but I also like very much Battelfield , it makes me want to ride a horse into battle with a sword in my hands and cut some heads off.

Theatre of Pain, Bright Eyes, Into the Storm. Sadly, the new ones haven't been the same jaw dropping level as the early albums.

Blind Guardian has a ton of awesome songs, but I would have to say that i prefer 'And Then There Was Silence'. It is an excellent combination of music and lyrics about an epic war, and serves to cap off a very good album.

No song of theirs managed to get me hooked into them other than "Wheel Of Time".I just adore it to be honest. Of that list though I picked And Then There Was Silence.

I'm a big fan of symphonic metal (with orchestra) so I'm contemplating between Sacred Worlds or Wheels of Time.

Great songs man! =) (by the way, in concert I can say you that both songs are spectacular).

Agreed.
But if we're talking about live concerts, nothing beats "Bard's Song", it's very epic!

I will never understand why so many BG fans have this song in high esteem. Imo, this song sucks and vocals are among the most annoying Hansi ever recorded.
