Agreed. And breakcore too if you want to be super specific.

Knut are labeled as "Technical Sludge Metal" which aside from not being a genre, is incorrect. I'd say they play a mixture of mathcore and sludge.

how about The Devil's Blood is it metal ?
Finnish band Tenhi is full neo folk acoustic, not metal I suggest it un visible it because we don't make such bands visible as neo folk, neo classical like Elend , and such bands where are no metal

what do you think?

Refined Cilice to progressive math metal as opposed to prog + math + mathcore.

While I don't really agree with combining progressive metal with math metal, it seems to have become a trend over here.

Just listened to some of The Devil's Blood's music - I don't know what it is, but it's definitely not hard rock. I'll listen to some more when I've got the time.

I agree that Tenhi should be invisible.

Talk to Marcel, he's a big fan of theirs.

since both are way to many albums , in old days we do make 2 profiles after name change , because both has like 5 albums

That's a topic I'll have to bring up in the next Staff meeting. The way that type of stuff has been for years is that when a band releases albums under one name, then changes and releases under a different name we put as 2 different profiles; which is why there are 2.

I'll bring it up and see if we want to keep it that way, or start combining.

Swallowed didn't have any styles, so I added some. There's certainly black, death and doom in there - here's what I have based on a superficial listening:

- Blackened death metal (2007 - )
- Death doom metal (2007 - )

I originally incorporated the avant-garde tag, but seeing as this style has become somewhat of a trend, it would be misleading.

Can someone change the style for Devin Townsend's Devlab? It's certainly not industrial progressive. I'm thinking something along the lines of ambient, experimental, and electronic. While I'm on the topic of Devy, I just realised that the album Ghost needs its style reworked - it's not prog metal...or metal at all. Unfortunately, I can't help with categorising it much. New-age? Ambient? Acoustic (that's probably not even a genre)?

I'd agree with that, despite that there are brutal death metal elements to Mitochondrion.

How about removed HM from Led Zeppelin after IV album ?
I hardly hear HM there at all, but I,II,III, IV ok maybe smarter people as I can discuss, but after IV ... I don't hear HM at all

Can Semargl's Love get Industrial metal removed? The new one's probably got enough industrial (although not really industrial metal) to still count, though.

Borknagar's 2006 release Origin is pure neofolk. There isn't a single distorted electric guitar riff in the entire album.

Two bands called Desdemona, one Polish, one Italian - neither profile has a nationality tag.

I think we usually add such tag for every new band original has no country tag
