Of course. There is no substitute for looking into the bands’ background and lyrics for ourselves. I just really appreciate that the chance of falling in love with the music of truly awful people is far less likely here.
Just one reason Metal Storm is so incredibly important and useful for me, is the fact that when I discover a band here, I at least know the music itself isn’t an expression of nazism or some other evil ideology.
We’ve all probably paid for art made by horrible people. There is no way to be aware of every single band’s exact ideology, let alone the beliefs the individual members. Just one reason why… tbc
I first heard about this band when Herz wrote a review for their "Pod Vladou Bice" album. He gave it a perfect 10, so I knew that it had to be something good. When I went to their official website and listened to 'Cistka', I was blown away. Never in my life had I heard such strange yet awesome music. Soon, I downloaded their "Pod Vladou Bice" album off DC++, and I absolutely fell in love with the album. It is now on my list of top 10 favorite albums. Now what do you guys think about !T.O.O.H.!, this amazingly technical death/grind band from the Czech Republic? My favorite songs from them include 'Cistka', Aura & Ziata', 'Svatorecim', and 'Ja Je Proto Proti'.
It was my favorite of them anyway... Also, those guys are awesome, put many links to their demos and unreleased shit. Nice.
Yeah mine too, and yeah they seem like very cool dudes. Not too perturbed by the idea of clean vocals, I imagine they'll be executed in the most bizarre way imaginable. Their music was never about brutality and beating down the listener with unlistenable sounds so I reckon clean vocals would be a pretty cool addition.

You got a point there... I'll still keep my expectations moderate just for safety. Masterpieces like Rad A Trest don't happen that often anyway, even if we are talking about the same band.

In the name of forests; In the name of stars; In the name of all the seas; In the name of storms... Proud sons of ancient nation; Proud sons of sacred song in the wind; Proud sons behind a mirror of ice who told... Fathers of the icy age!!
Sometime during fall, that would mean anything between September-November I guess.
Ah cheers for that. Haha I'm loving their pictures in the Facebook page. Great band.

No idea why it took me so long to check these guys out. Probably the avant-garde tag was turning me off but whatever. Glad I got off my high horse. They have 42 fans now by the way. That is they will once I stop being lazy and log into Facebook.
"The seventh song from our forthcoming album is called: Vítat /Welcome/
Currently, we practice and refine new songs and also equip our home studio. We got a lot of questions about releases of our a new album. The whole thing is in our direction.
We are very like the idea of DIY and therefore everything will be connected with our resources, you will be able to support ...
We plan to offer some! T.O.O.H.! merchandise, t-shirts, etc..
The new album will also herald the first official video clip !T.O.O.H.! - You have to look forward to! Video we would like implemented in the summer and published in early September ..."
Can't say anything that hasn't been said. Really excellent band. Everyone should check them out, and, while they're at it, Japanische Kampfhorspiele is another excellent grind band. They are more standard than Total Ob but they have that same acerbic wit and frenetic energy.
Been listening to "Rad A Trest" and "Pod vladou bice" for 2 days in a row. Got to say these guys are amazing. Rad A Trest is easily my top 10 favorite albums ever.
Bands like !T.O.O.H! and S.V.E.S.T (totally different genre by the way) do create this weird noisy vibe and yet so addictive. I honestly think it's because of the fullstops in their band names.

Man... watching this makes me sad. They were great live. Shame that it just doesn't work for Humanoid.
Gold moments: Pretty much everything but 2:50 and 7:25 provide some nice laughs.
