Having somewhat of a passing interest in geology, I have been trying to compile a playlist of songs that touch on the subject. Figuring the wealth of knowledge available from the users on this site (including some who have studied geology), I am looking for any suggestions.

So far, I have three songs relating to geology:

Borknagar - The Stir Of The Seasons

Seconds, minutes and hours
The pace, a momentary notion
Sand, stone and mountain
The entwinement of time and erosion

Virus - Continental Drift

Slow and accurate
over the fields where the first fossils were formed
The pendulum sways like a dead arm

The visuals of your sounds resound
throughout all our known abysses
And floats around in the magma chamber

Toils with what's forgotten
as all our craters are formed
The slowest (there is), the continents drifting
underneath the crusts of our deserts

Atheist - Mineral

The choice of becoming what you need to be
A choice of cradling the creator of mineral and sea

The holding of the bones, of the treasured
Allows us to peel, somewhat insightful
Of course it should be with due respect
For after all, we are all mineral!

Well, actually I am studying geology, but the only geology related stuff I can think of (ok, I have no idea if the lyrics are related to geology, but at least the titles are ^^) is Process of Guilts "Erosion" album.

Well, you've got all The Ocean's Precambrian, with the song names being the different eras. The lyrics are not really related, however.
Just to say, Robin Staps (The Ocean's mastermind) studied geology at university So did I Good times...

Edit: + Pan.Thy.Monium - Lava

The lyrics aren't they are related to human feelings. The geology stuff is metaphor for it all. Check the lyrics on MA

Wolves in the Throne Room's 'I will Lay Down My Bones Among the Rocks and Roots' maybe?

"The torment has ended
the beast has done his work
Great fires rage outside of this wooded sanctuary

But soon they will be quenched by a purifying rain
the embers of the ceremonial fire burn to ash

A new warmth stirs within the center of the earth
I am alone here no more

The wood is filled with the sounds of wildness
The songs of birds fill the forest on this new morning
This will be my new home
Deep within the most sacred grove
the sun god is born anew

I will lay down my bones among the rocks and roots of the deepest
hollow next to the streambed
The quiet hum of the earth's dreaming is my new song

When I awake, the world will be born anew"

Yeah, that's it; the link I wanted to provide was http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/P.H.O.B.O.S./Tectonics/71435
Anyway, two more songs:
Converge - Fault And Fracture (probably the lyrics don't fit)
Nocturnus - Neolithic
