The first 3 Sonic games (and Sonic And Kunckles) are just totally classic platformers! xD Like many classic 2D franchises, it didn't translate particularly well to 3D, although Sonic Adventure was decent enough I guess. Ive always felt that the Mario games had more substance than the Sonic series, but those first Sonic games were total thrill rides, and definitely iconic classics. Oh, and the music in those games is amazing too!

Angelic perfectly sums up Sonic's history. It's been a long, long time since there was a great Sonic game. Kinda ironic seeing how much more of an awesome character he is than the overweight plumber who gets all the golden games.

I remember playing this at my neighbor's computer. I always chose Tails, because let's fucking face it: Sonic may be great at speeding up ramps and shit, but can he just fly away every time shit is getting serious? nope.
