UBB code does not work for Suggest Bands

Problem or maybe a feature, not sure. Here goes: I just suggested a band ("Order of Orias") and I noticed when I tried to use UBB code, it was not interpreted in the comments field. Is this by design or just a bug? I edited my comment for readability so the tags are gone but I assure you all UBB code were taken as text literals. Thanks!

Sounds like a waste of time for Ivan if you ask me. Once bands are blacklisted or accepted or deleted, the UBB Code goes out the window.

Right, but when they are suggested, wouldn't it make sense to allow links and videos so folks (including staffers) can be more informed when they vote?

Some suggestions are not accepted or deleted for a while so information in the comment fields are really the only way to enlist support for a band.

On the other hand, if on UBB code is too much hassle, then forget about it! I guess this is really a nice to have.
