Death - "Individual Thought Patterns" Three-Disc Reissue Streaming Online


Official press release

The deluxe re-issue of Death's legendary Individual Thought Patterns album is streaming online now at this location. The follow-up album to Human, Individual Thought Patterns has been remixed by Alan Douches and re-packaged to include a second and third bonus disc worth of previously unreleased demos and a full live set recorded in Germany during a 1993 European tour. Also included on the third bonus disc exclusive to this re-issue are rare riff tracks from the Chuck Schuldiner archives.

Individual Thought Patterns is available today in North America (on October 28th in the Benelux/Germany, and October 31st in the UK and rest of Europe) as a deluxe 3-disc set, a 2-disc standard set, and a deluxe digital download. CD orders with an extensive line of exclusive Death merch are available here, with the digital version available via iTunes here.

Don't really like the remaster. It's one of my favorite Death albums in spite of the muddy production. If anything, I wish Chuck were still alive and he could re-record it.

Isn't a "live in '93" album only really relevant in '93?
And a demo version of the album?
What's the point of that?
The album is here, remastered, because someone, somewhere, thought the original just didn't sound good enough... and then they throw in the demo tracks. What the fuck am I going to do with those? Don't they sound like shit?
They should have included a 4th disc, with the original album, the way it was originally recorded.
Or just had one disc, with the original album, the way it was originally recorded.
