Bought on bandcamp, having previously only listened to them on Youtube (what a scumbag I am). Glad to now own them, even if only digitally. Two of the very best albums I've ever heard and albums that hugely inspire me. Also, while both might be classified as atmospheric bm, the albums are almost polar opposites in many ways. Griseus is bombastic, symphonic, just huge when it comes to the sound and songwriting, Lurker Of Chalice is more minimalistic, probably minimalism done as well as humanly possible.

Well, I also get surprised haha. I save each month for a good Roadburn experience every year and I don't have much hobbies. Guess that helps together with work and few student loans.

I got a small scratch on the Gorillaz selftitled caused by me when I dropped it by accident (D'oh!). Currently giving it a listening and fortunately not finding nothing odd yet. Thankfully Cds tend to be very hardy most of the time.

I have recently acquired no new albums, simply because it's incredibly difficult for me to afford new music (no joke, streaming services are my savior right now). However! As soon as I can find the means to go and afford new albums, you bet your ass I am going down to the record store to order The Forest Seasons, No Grave But the Sea (still listened to it via streaming, awesome record), Blind Guardian's Tales from the Twilight World, a Vision Divine album (the 2012 one), and many others.

I would have some epic reason for why I've been having difficulty acquiring new albums, but the only reason why is because my jobs pay epic amounts of, like, $1.25 an hour. I may as well move to China and become a sweatshop worker given the pay. At least then I'd see how the inside of my phone is made. Sorry, I'm going on a tangent. Rest assured, I am alright and will be acquiring new albums soon. Hence this long post here.

Gorillaz album Demon Days was one of my childhood self's favorite albums. Still is one of them, honestly.

Alcest - Kodama. So much better than Shelter imo, I'm glad they returned to their awesome sound. Lovely digipack design as well!

Drudkh - Blood In Our Wells. Very good album, and I found the first press edition! Pretty cool

Mgla - Exercises in Futility. My favorite raw black metal record, every song on it is just amazing, with song V as the peak

The last metal album I got was Mastodon's newest one, the last rock album was Radiohead's latest one from last year, and the most recent were a couple of Beethoven compilations that featured all of his symphonies and piano sonatas for 99¢ each.

Last album I got is Paul Miro's Sinombré Volume I: All Hope is Gone. It's more rock than metal. It is a concept album about society's demise set in Western America. Volume II will probably come in the next few years.
