Heard the first album teaser today and I may be more excited about this release than any other this year. The song snippet sounds amazing!

I realized after I posted.

I think it's a lot less technical that their previous release, kinda going back to their roots.

but yeah... it's just one song.

The other samples I've heard were decent, I don't think this is going to be as good as the previous though.

Listening to this in full now...getting prepped for the show next week. Straight-forward, tight as hell, and slammin', groovin' death metal with great tech death guitar fills at it's most precise. The drums are faster than I ever remember and seem to hit harder. The production is top-notch.

Just got the deluxe album in the mail, I have only listened a few tracks in and so far its really fuckin! brutal. Dying Fetus did not disappoint this fan

Agreed! I've been jamming this album back to back for the last couple days and it's freakin' amazing, I am definitely not disappointed in any way...

One of the best albums so far in this year. And one of the best Dying Fetus material in their career. "In The Trenches" owns.

In top 3 Dying Fetus albums perhaps?

Boring album. They are capable of so much better.

Commercial crap

This makes zero sense.

Excellent album, everything runs so smoothly yet the brutality is still there. The band's use of technical styles contributes well to their placement of scything riffs in virtaully every song. 'Invert the Idols' is one hell of a good opener as well.

Brutal kids, pick this one up. Now.

Slightly disappointed by DF standards.

Love it when I'm driving and listening to this album and the song Dead Whores Love To Fuck starts playing, no one understands it and I start busting up laughing and nearly run the car off the road

This suprised me...There isn't too much Technical Death metal bands who can be technical and brutal enough at the same time.

My only complaint on this album is that the production feels to clean, too inhuman. I feel like the production on Descend Into Depravity, or let alone Suffocation Effigy of the Forgotten is more hard-hitting, it sounds more Bottom heavy, more human and less perfect.
