Sure it's not an everyday listen, but "Der Baummann" is terrifyingly haunting. Holy fuck...

When it's starting to get cold and I prefer to stay inside this half of the year... It is time I begin my slow but steady run through the discography of this fine project.
I forgot how aggressive and raw the first track was. I actually jumped a bit when the track started. The vocals in particular are abrassive and in your face. Definitely haunting, as our departed metalstormer mentioned. The slower yet heavier tempo of the second track, with weird and unnerving leads, is well balanced with the otherworldly growls and dare I say industrial edge (I know the drums are programmed but still). And well, the last track sees Wintherr exploring the chilling, distant and cold ambient music he mastered in following releases...

Such a beautiful yet haunting project. Fascinating.
