1. Judas Priest - Sad Wings Of Destiny
1976 - The masterpiece of all hard rock and metal alike. Perfect.
2. Venom - Black Metal
1982 - The best example of raw production, and raw power.
3. Strapping Young Lad - City
1997 - Pure release of anger and emotion, no one but Townsend can capture insanity like this.
4. Sepultura - Beneath The Remains
1989 - Perhaps the greatest piece of Thrash ever constructed. Beautiful.
5. Scars On Broadway - Scars On Broadway
2003 - Simplistic rock, catchy as hell, and yet it draws me in closer ever listen.
6. Skeletonwitch - Breathing The Fire
2009 - Absolutely brutal, fast, and just one of the best acts out there today.
7. Kreator - Hordes Of Chaos
2009 - An album that I have no problem listening to the whole way through, everyday.
8. Gwar - We Kill Everything
1999 - The goofiness and brutal side of Gwar is best shown in their "worst" effort.
9. System Of A Down - System Of A Down
1998 - A dark experimental album that on it's own is simply amazing.
10. Stormtroopers Of Death - Speak English Or Die
1985 - Punk and Thrash until you die, fucker.
11. Dethklok - The Dethalbum
2007 - Some incredibly catchy stuff, and just entertaining as all hell.
12. Iced Earth - Tribute To The Gods
2002 - Taking the classics, and making them sound ever better. So talented.
13. Amon Amarth - With Oden On Our Side
2006 - The Norse Gods of metal. Simply put.
14. Space Eater - Aftershock
2010 - Blew me away upon my first listen. They are the new Slayer in a higher pitch.
15. Blind Guardian - Battalions Of Fear
1988 - When Blind Guardian did thrash, they did the best work of their career.
16. Metal Church - Metal Church
1986 - Incredible fusion of awesome beats and brutal guitar and speed.
17. Anthrax - Persistence Of Time
1989 - It's simply an album that gets almost everything right.
18. Lazarus A.D. - The Onslaught
2009 - New thrash has a new beacon of hope. It's amazing.
19. Fear Factory - Archetype
2004 - Brutal yet atmospheric and light. Truly interesting work.
20. Death Angel - The Art Of Dying
2004 - Bring thrash back to it's basics, and perfect it.
