What's with this, they kinda had one this summer? Wouldn't mind seeing them again, it was a blast.

I'd love for them to do some UK Dates again. When I saw them in Doncaster earlier on this year, it was my second time seeing them and I'd have to say it's the best performance I've seen by a Band, considering I've seen a fair share of both massive Metal bands (including Iron Maiden and Metallica) to more up and coming bands and everything in between.

I think getting Richie has revitalised them (in the Live Environment at least) and I think they can still continue to be a great band both for touring and releasing new material, considering that out of their last two albums, the first was pretty damn good and the latter still isn't too bad, it's just that a strict concept album doesn't suit Judas Priest.

There's plenty of Bands that should never come back and existing ones that should pack it in. Judas Priest is definitely NOT one of them.

Wasn't this summer their Farewell Tour? I mean, everyone loves a comeback tour but at least give us time to miss you first!!

I remember in an interview, Richie saying he kept going on at the other members that they shouldn't quit, and maybe that has rubbed off? I know that they have a new album out next year, but I wasn't expecting any actual touring for it, other than maybe the odd festival date here and there...

Looks like it's just a continuation of the same tour to me. The Epitaph tour is still ongoing (Asian leg lasts until the end of Feb), so it's not really surprising that more shows have been announced for April and May.

They played festival dates in Poland and Sweden in the summer (exclusives?), and only one show in Austria. Probably just going back to cover a couple of countries properly, that they didn't get chance to before because of contractual restrictions.

Also, Priest made it quite clear Epitaph was never a proper 'farewell' tour... just their final major world tour. They've always said they'd be open to carry on playing smaller numbers of dates after it's all over.
