hey i've been playing guitar for about a year and a half now, and im in a fingerpicking stage at the moment.
at the moment the only fingerpicking songs i can play are nothing else matters, stairway to heaven and classical gas (parts of). i would love to know some good fingerpicking songs or riffs to learn. i know that opeth prob have a few but i dont know them very well. anyway, post away.

one version of Beethovens 'fur elies' and even his 'moonlight sonata' have finger picking here and there
finger eleven's 'one thing' is a REALLY easy finger picking song.

I highly reccomend Kansas - Dust in the Wind.
Great song, but since I suck at fingerpicking...I can't play it.

also any arpeggios or stuff like Sonata Arctica - Replica is cool as well, even though they use a pick.

Dust in the wind is pretty good fingrpicking, but also you must practice hard to get it...
Do a little research, or ask a classical guitar players, you can find lots of good stuff there. Good luck!

Not very metal but Greensleeves is a good song to finger pick.
