Eluveitie - Release New Video

"Havoc", a brand new video from Swiss folk metallers Eluveitie is now available online and you can watch it below. The video was produced by Polish company Grupa13, who had worked with the band on the clip for "Thousandfold" from the last album Everything Remains As It Never Was and for "A Rose For Epona" from the upcoming album Helvetios.

"Havoc" comes off the band's upcoming album Helvetios, due out on February 10th (Europe) and February 28th (North America) through Nuclear Blast Records.

Grupa13 once did a video for Sonata Arctica too, wasn't shabby at all.

Ugh, if only they cut out every strictly metal part from their music, it's just so damn generic!

I sooo agree with you. While not a folk metal fan in any way Eluveites strength is their folky stuff (I find it less silly then most other folk metal) and the plain metal stuff is just boring. Either way this track shows some promise for the new album, the folk parts were a great suprise to me after Rose for Epona.

Wow these 3 singles from Eluveitie's upcoming album is music commercialism at its most formulaic folks.

1. "A Rose for Epona" - most poppy Elu song yet, to capture the mainstream metal fans.
2. "Meet the Enemy" - portraying Elu's "heavier" side, to capture the exteme metal fans.
3. "Havoc" - generic and classic sounding Elu, to capture the core fans.

Im a huge fan of Eluveitie and understand that they gotta make a living but theyve gone just a lil too far..

Cannot agree more... By the way, their whole album which leaked almost a month ago isn't better at all. But damn it this is so sad for a band I've always liked

@Majid this is just too sad,"professionalists" my ass!

I think this song proves the breaking of the old typical linear sound hopefully into something much better and heavier

The whole album is commercial. I realized that the metal side of Eluveitie is now no more like death metal but more metalcore or something alike. But we've got to admit that it's good to listen to. Pay attention and you'll see that Eluveitie is actually the most commercial folk metal band. You don't need to be so fond of folk metal to like Eluveitie at the first listening. It doesn't change the fact that it's a great band though.

About the videoclip, what did they create besides the fire on the floor? I hate only band playing videoclips.
