VERMIVORE is a death/thrash metal band storming from Oulu, Finland. The four-piece terror machine
consists of vocalist Jouni Koskela (also in CLOCK PARADOX and ABYSMALIA), guitarist Jari Haipus,
bassist Juha Haipus and the drummer Ukri "UgE" Suvilehto (also in DE LIRIUM'S ORDER, session for
BEFORE THE DAWN). Collectively the quartet demonstrates the sound of a slightly modernized version
of old school death metal in conjunction with the finest elements of global thrash movement.

I honestly wasn't expecting that much energy from this... Catchy hooks, a satisfying mix of higher and lower pitched harsh vocals, frantic drum patterns, and songs that flow evenly throughout. Definitely a well-executed EP!

Never heard of them, will check it out tonight.

Thank you very much! Considering we did this EP in bits and pieces in various locations for a good while (due to the fact that we were on a really strict budget), but I think the end result turned out really great!

Too bad I can't watch that at school, but if you like it, then it's probably good.

Not a huge fan of the djent guitar tone but that's just me. Solid music overall, especially Zero Vector. Quite catchy.

Thank you! We've had lots of opinions about the peculiar guitar tone, some of them have been full of praise and some thought that it was really weird and not fitting the musical style.

The djent tone in death metal is at least something new, so it"s a good idea, you should maybe distort it a little bit more
also, vocals are slightly too high in the mix
and for the drum mix, you focus too much on one drum played rather slow which takes away intensity, you should turn it down and turn all other drums up
