please follow arena rules when posting polls - explain the point of the poll beyond simply "favorite from the list" - and also note your answer and why.
as for the old thread, jebus fuck, k7, it hasn't been posted on in over four years. how many MSers still active now were posting then? it's not a redundant band thread, it's a poll so old, and not focusing on an over convoluted genre (thrash, black metal) that the reset might be a good thing to get discussion going again.
My preference is Godflesh as well, while i loved Ministry back in the day (still do now), i just prefer Godflesh's work altogether. "Streetcleaner" remains one of my favorite, and most significant, albums ever.

Godflesh is the obvious choice for me. Ministry have some good moments. They never really hit me that hard, might have to give them another chance. But Rammstein's Mutter was my first experience with industrial, and one of my first metal albums in general. I still think it's pretty damn solid, even if the band's become pretty watered-down and repetitive since then. Killing Joke, NiN and Fear Factory are all nice too.
But yeah, Godflesh are something different entirely. I don't think I worship the debut quite as much as some others here, but it's still in my top 25 metal albums of all time.

I likewise enjoyed Fear Factory, but haven't listened to Godflesh yet. Either Ministry or KMFDM for me.

Fear Factory for me, I have heard the rest, I prefer something not so repetative.
Others OK when at dance club or something, but not for just listening to at home or in the car.
