I understand that there is another Katatonia album poll, but it is for the albums before and including The Great Cold Distance. This one is strictly focused on the albums they have released in the 2000's, including their most recent effort Dead End Kings. So which do you guys choose? Just in case the band decides to make a new album after DEK, I wish I could back and edit this poll, but I can't, so just name the future album in the comments or something.

I voted for LFDGD out of sympathy, because I know Viva will get the most votes. I love both. Some days I love Viva more, but LFDGD has some seriously melancholy material and great melodies.

None of the others are really worth my time, though there's the odd good song here and there.

The Great Cold Distance is the only Katatonia's album that i think is awesome.. others are pretty mediocre for me, this is the album where death doom clearly comes out.

Okay, will remeasure him in April. I think it could be 4'9" or less cause I think I measured from the top of his frizzy hair down

Definitely Distance. I find it the best mix of melody and heaviness. Absolutely phenomenal album.
