Soundgarden - New Album Details, Trailer Online


Reunited Seattle grunge legends Soundgarden have announced details of their new album King Animal, which will be released on November 13th, while the first single from the album, "Been Away Too Long", will be released digitally on September 27th. The band co-produced King Animal with Adam Kasper (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Pearl Jam) and recorded at Studio X in Seattle. This will be the band's first studio album since 1996's Down On The Upside.

I wish that Soundgarden would make more songs like the more recent Black Rain or their first album. They need to get heavy again.

I've always been averse to bands making a comeback after being away for ages but when Alice in Chains came back after so long (and with a forced line-up change) with the brilliant Black Gives Way to Blue I'm now less reticent about having a listen. I wonder if this can also be a really good album? Can only hope.
