This band just equals Axel Julius (the guitarist) who kept them alive for nearly two decades.
They did 5 albums, from which I own the last lone, and have on mp3s the first two.
Those early classics, Hypertrace and Terminal Earth feature some speedish Helloween-Keeper melodies but their distinct characteristics is the science-fiction lyrcics, and the near perfect blend of power and speed elements (like later Gamma Ray, or another way, try to imagine a mixture between Walls and the Keepers)..
The Scantropolis album, the 2002 one is the best female-vocals mel. power metal record that I've heard. I recommend it and them (as band)to all fans of melodic and/or traditional metal fans..

I know this abnd I had hear fisrt album and I love it and its claiscal band but not so k ow, IMO even in that time

styles eddet just in case

Excellent band. I own their "Hypertrace" album on vinyl which I was lucky enough to find for 12 bucks. That one's my personal favorite. The similarities between them & early Helloween/Gamma Ray are astounding. More so that their first vocalist Michael Knoblich strikingly resembles Kai Hansen in delivery. Out of their five I like Scantropolis the least. I felt the female vocals didn't quite fit, but musically was a pretty good album. If you haven't heard their previous band 'Lion's Breed' give their one & only album "Damn the Night" a listen. It's a good slab of old school German Heavy Metal.

Hypertrace and Terminal Earth are really solid stuff, worth every recommendation if you're into that style.
