I think there is the link to the original cover but actually more on the Sarcasm word playing: Dark Polanski, what is he did is DARK with his last name, and the album title is Damage Done, very true to what he did, a DAMAGE and he Done it, lol. The original band name is Dark Tranquility with the same album title as in the modified one. It is very good parody Cover to me, much better than funny. I dont remember how the original cover picture is, but AGAIN, I prefer the Photoshop one.

So "Dark Tranquillity - Damage Done" is original, where from came the idea...thats what i asked for .)

Yap, the idea was from damage done album. It was just a parody between polanski news using that cover art as substance. The original cover is a bit abstract but I intend it's a men with a blown head.
