Dave Grohl - Rejoins Queens Of The Stone Age For New Album

Queens Of The Stone Age's frontman Josh Homme recently confirmed on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show that Dave Grohl will rejoin the band for their sixth studio album on drums.

Homme also stated that previous drummer Joey Castillo had left the band. Grohl had featured on QOTSA's 2002 album Songs For The Deaf before stepping aside for 2005 LP Lullabies To Paralyze and 2007's Era Vulgaris. Homme spoke of his working relationship with the Foo Fighters frontman stating "[Grohl] and I have this wonderful musical relationship which we don't have with other people. It's a very cool and comfortable position."

A visual confirmation was made when the band posted their studio's mixing board with the names of the band's updated lineup. The group has already booked appearances at Lollapalooza Brazil and Chile and at the Download Festival.
