Hello.
I just heard Dark Sanctuary and I freaking loooove it.
Do you guys know any other band similar to them?
BTW what genre are they anyway? Some say neo-classic, others say gothic or darkwave. I can't really put my finger on what they are.

I listened to the bands and they do not remind me of Dark Sanctuary, thats why I'm asking.

Dunno, Elend?
Oh yes, them. Some of their work is though is more aggressive but generally they do sound like Dark Sanctuary..
em. Die Verbannten Kinder Evas?

Not for the genre, but for the similar bands, fans that might give him some leads. You never know, sometimes people ask without looking for themselves first.

Elend. Elend, Elend, Elend.
You also ought to check out Dead Can Dance, the band more or less responsible for this whole neoclassical darkwave shtick.

For neoclassical, I second Die Verbannten Kinder Evas and Arcana (especially their first three albums) but I really urge you to check out Dargaard, very beautiful vocals there...also on the more darkwave/dark ambient side, I recommend Lycia, check out their "cold" and "estrella" discs, both perfect for the winter months.
