On average, for me it's around 3-4 hours during weekdays and a little bit more on weekends.

same here if Im free 4-10 per day, if Im study 1 before buss, 40min in bus same way home and 2-3 after school
Generaly I have been doing it since I dont remeber, before i net CD, tapes, sat radio , nowdays also online

Hmmm dedicated listens are usually when I'm on the bus, that's 2-4 hours per day average. Then when I'm studying or playing games or whathever I always have a record on background.
Also, when I go to bed I put an album on the audio player and two or three songs play until I fall asleep.

The days that I work and go to college it's 3 hours to the office and back and then 1 hour to college and back  But that's just two-three days a week that I go to college after work.

Nah, it's just that my house, the office and college are not close to each other, and I live in the capital so traffic slows you down.

Probably 2-4 hours on weekdays since I only listen on the bus rides to and from school... On weekends, it depends. Sometimes I go a whole day without listening to music, other times I get in 6+ hours. I do enjoy silence sometimes. It makes me appreciate music more.

I do enjoy silence sometimes. It makes me appreciate music more.
This is me as well, long hours of continuous listening doesn't work and isn't nearly as enjoyable as spacing things out a bit.

When I was in college, I was probably listening to music 3-4 hours each day M-F and 6 hours or so on the weekend. For the past few years, that amount has dropped to about 1 hour a day or so - sometimes less.

It depends on what shape you're in from day to day, or what your schedule looks like, etc, and so it varies constantly. Like others already said, hours upon hours with music can easily get too much. I do however listen to some extent every day, I think. If it's not sitting down and spending quality time with albums from beginning to end, then surely by checking out a song or two from something new or unfamiliar on Youtube or Spotify. I guess it must be something like 2 hours a day in general.

Fortunately at school I'm able to listen to music tons... so anywhere between 7-14 hours a day, but on average about 10ish

I couldn't say. I am more of an album guy. I mean, I know the time I've got so I usually take a new release and give it a go while waiting for the bus, the 20 minute ride and the 30 minutes I've got before the office gets crowded.
Idem on my way back home (replace office getting crowded with family getting on my nerves)

I would say at least 6 hours. Roughly 2 hours in transport and when I'm home I always listen to music while doing something in my computer or while doing homework. So yeah, at least 6.

Speaking of pointless listing threads....sorry didn't mean to start bashing
anyway, i'd have to say i'm more or less in the same situation as Mr.Doctor, about 1 hour in bus to college, 1 hour back and whenever i turn the pc on, the 1st thing i do is turn on the winamp (which can sometimes be more and sometimes less time spent on the pc) so i'd say about an average of 5-6 hours a day

Jiri listens to music on the shithole. He takes an average of two shits a day, each lasting about 10 minuets. This puts Jiri at 20 minutes. He also listens while working, studying and playing video games. This maybe equates to 2 hours. Jiri also listens to himself singing a lot during the day. He'll add a half hour for that. Oh, Jiri also listens to music when driving in his Jiri-mobile. That'll be 40 more min a day. So, about 3-4 hours per day maybe.

Hm... on average I guess it would be 5-7 hours, but it can really change form time to time. Somedays it could be just 1-2 hours, and other days I could listen through the whole day out. It really depends if I have something to do that day or not.
