You know the drill. Here's some rather fine sounding Cthulhu driven death metal that's not due for release until 2013, with extraordinarily beautiful cover artwork (check out the detail in the full image):

Good lord, that Darkthrone "song" is beyond atrocious. Might be their worst album yet, and that's saying something.

Inexistenz was pretty damn sweet though, can't wait for the whole album.

Hehehehe completely separating the audience once again. Only extreme opinions... I personally like it a lot. Have a soft spot for filthy heavy/speed metal like the kind Darkthrone makes nowdays.

I wasn't crazy about it, but it's pretty good. Dunno what would be so shocking or offensive about it. Will definitely check the album out when it's released.

Hmmm, yeah this is probably not metal but here's a track from the Corrections House supergroup (Neurosis/Nachtmystium/Eyehategod/Yakuza).

Too bad it seems they did just two tracks, the tour consist of the four guys doing solo sets and then a couple of collaborative songs.

How productive is this guy? One man band releasing a 2 disc album each year? that too without using guitars and bass?

I don't know. Maybe it's not done completely yet, or perhaps to drag the attention more towards the visceral cry for war instead of the instrumentation.

A band called Call Of The Void is releasing their debut on March. Pretty cool sounding hardcore, I'll look forward to hear it.

Inexistenz - Erfundene Welten

Haven't listened to this, but this surely has to be the same artist who did that Agalloch one (it's utterly beautiful either way):

I prefer the other one. The Agalloch one is nice but there's not much going on and I generally think the composition on the other one is better. If you think that's shitty but the Agalloch one nice then you have some serious dissonance going on in your art-appreciation centre
