All those quotes against the one who's against the taste of the masses are so repetitive and... generic ha ha.

and so are the people who comment, rate and whine upon the music they don't like....and how's your taste against the masses, when there are 4 in top 5 albums which you find superb? I for one, can't stand that awful Omnium Gatherum or Persefone album, but I don't even bother to rate or comment them! I just ignore them, the thing you should do in this case

I'm seeing the top 5 right now with masterpieces from Amorphis, Persefone, Omnium Gatherum and Leprous; all different, all impressive and highly enjoyable... But this? this cd is so generic. Not bad, not good, just "meh".

noob...you should shut up; by giving 5 for this amazing album i find you pretty retarded

Very nicely produced, very epic - but there are definitely some elements missing, namely this band's answer to ICS Vortex (let's not kid ourselves to say this is not a Dimmu clone); some good intermittent clean vocals could have gone a long way in making this album more interesting.

Personally i think Omega Arcane is more closer to Septicflesh than Dimmu Borgir. But definitely not a clone of anything, . I think they have their own sound.

I don't hear much black metal, but this is the best black metal album i've heard in all my whole life. It's perfect.

It's decent and I love a couple of tracks on it, Ash Statues and Nomad (its outro is great)

Its a decent album, its got some majestic orchestrations and epic and huge choruses. But its just not very original and at times it can feel a bit muddled with too many layers and noises.

If your a fan of Dimmu you should get along nicely with this album, casual listeners should be able to find a few tracks to enjoy but don't expect to be blown away by anything.

+ Dark Tranquillity - Haven, Omnium Gatherum and similar melobands, Fleshgod Apocalypse (blast parts), + some Emperor guitar tricks and a Samael riff part, and some Chaosweaver sounds.

Yeap, nothing too original here.

Had to see why this so high up on the charts. I listened to the first song only. Someone said Omnium Gatherum? I get the same feeling. I better finish the whole thing now.

So my decision came to this. After many many repeated listens. This album still doesn't fail to impress me, it's an grower when you least think it is. Neither shallow or too pompous, everything here screams passion. Simplicity and balance at its finest!

A solid 9 for my taste

Exactly what I thought, to the letter. It's like the metal Hans Zimmer I've been waiting for for so long.

At parts great, but some of the songs overstay their welcome. It seems like this album needed to be edited down a little bit.
