Midnattsol - New Album In The Works

Folk metallers Midnattsol, which have three albums in their discography, Where Twilight Dwells, Nordlys and the latest The Metamorphosis Melody from 2011, are currently busy working on their next album. For that reason, their recently confirmed performance at Ragnarök Festival next April will be the band's only show this year.

Short message from the band: "Hi Folks, Midnattsol will play for you on April 6th live at the Ragnarök Festival in Lichtenfels! As Midnattsol is pretty busy working on the upcoming album at the moment, this gig will be the only live show in 2013. So hurry up and get some tickets - we're really locking forward to see you again! Horns up! Yours Midnattsol."

Yeah it was a really amazing album! I love their Nordic Folkish style. I know the next album will be fantastic!

I love their Nordic Folkish style.


Me too! imo there is nothing gothic in their music, they play Symphonic Folk Metal. I also like that they sing in both English and Norwegian.

Yeah, that was quite different from TMM, but I liked it too. About TMM, well, to each of his own.
