My favorite punk is punk. i don't really recall much by way of genre tags beyond just the "hard core" descriptor. better without the genres, better without the mandatory uniform, better without the mandatory political stances.

Psychobilly (well old psychobilly) and horror punk

I saw The Meteors live two weeks ago at Baroeg Open Air and they were fun. I think the vocalist is the only Original member, by the looks of it, but am not sure since I am not into the band

Yeah p.paul fenech is the only original member, he has a HUGE back catalogue of music including about three other bands, he really is talented.
5 years ago i would have paid a lot of money to see him live, now days not so much.
Fuck i get jealous of people over seas being able to just wonder down the road to the pub to see some big act. If a band like that came to NZ even the metalheads would be talking about it 6 months before they came, and then travel to the other end of the country to see them....nz sucks

hey did you join in the wrecking pit

Hardcore punk is my thing. I used to listen to horror punk back in the day but now I mostly listen to Dead Kennedys and similar bands.
