i made a deal with Satan
nah ..i just get experienced when it comes to brewing it... it need to be destiled in right time and on right temperature ..from 100 liters of material you get 2l of 80% one 10l of 50%, 5l of 30%+,and about 10l of low % stuff which you may use later for re-brew. The %s may vary ... especially in 50% and low % groups.

Hangovers are pure death. You can totally not have them though by spacing out drinks and keeping hydrated while getting drunk. I used to get them all the time until I recently started keeping water near me. Win.

Hey now, don't knock rakija (especially honey rakija...oh boy)! Put it in a whiskey tumbler and you can still drink like a sir!
I can't get it easily anymore so my drink of choice is now mead. If I could, I'd drink it instead of water.

Quince rakija is my favorite, sadly it's very hard to get hold of the good homemade stuff.

My mum was a master at making quince rakija. Don't like the fruit myself, but have to admit, in alcoholic form, it's not half bad.

Never brewed my own booze, but I'd definitely like to give it a shot.

On weekends, I generally ride/race dirt bikes.

It's pretty fun once you get the hang of it down. I make some every once in a while. Bottle it and give out to some friends.

i'm actually thinking of branding by strongest stuff ... i will call it "Satan's piss".Imagine calling a fiend and asking him something like : "Are you for some piss?Satan's piss?"

It's a hard liquor made predominantly in the Balkans, usually from plums, but other fruit are welcome. it's strength ranges from weak liquor to hard spirits, the most famous is the "?ljivovica" ( which is claimed to be a national product by many several countries in the Balkans), made purely from plums.

Many households make their own rakija, and it's a sign of a good household to make strong rakija, there is still a strong custom (at least in the parts where I live) to make rakija when a child is born and open it when the child goes to serve in the army or reaches legal age.

And the most important part, it's good, strong liquor, with its own drinking technique.



P.S. I would like to try some good household American moonshine.

its some kind of "plum" brandy...but it can be made of almost any fruit ... % of alcohol in it comes from 30% to +80% ..also its usually homemade stuff...
