They didn't waste those 6 years that passed since "Simple Mind Condition". The new album was worth the wait, even though it's not as great as some of their old releases.

Having just listened to the first six tracks or so - this is very good shit here, Kyle Thomas of Floodgate is a great singer for this style, very good power and range. Bruce Franklin seems to still be more of the 70s psychedelic guy while Rick Wartell has stated his style is stilll towards the Doom Metal side. Plus the mellow side of "Have I Told You" completes the scene....... A fucking perfect combination in this release!!

Funny you should mention Floodgate for Kyle, because they only released on album and Kyle is much more known for his time in Exhorder and Alabama Thunderpussy.

This Floodgate reference I got from their press release, also citing the long-time association with Thomas. I only have Psalm9 and (Rick Rubin produced) Manic Frustration, I'm not as familiar with Kyle's previous outings....

Yeah, I know - embarrasedly, only recently discovered the Stockholm DVD, just putting up a link as it is one of the most cool (like Plastic green Head) out of the already outrageously cool numbers in the gig!

End of My Daze from the Dynasty of Doom tour in Stockholm in like, 2009(?) really kicks ass!
