Monster Magnet - New Album, New Song Online, N. American Tour

Monster Magnet are back and have big plans for this year. The stoner group is set to make their return with a new album titled Last Patrol due out on October 15th in North America and October 18th in Europe via Napalm Records. Last Patrol will serve as the follow-up to their 2010 release Mastermind and you can take a look at the artwork and tracklist below. And since everything is out on the table, you might as well listen to the new song "The Duke" below too.

Dave Wyndorf and Phil Caivano produced the album, while Evil Joe Barresit mixed the album with additional production duties handled by Matt Hyde. The artwork was created by Johun Sumrow with consultation from Chris Ryall and designs by Ryan Clark for Invisible Creatures Inc.

In support of the new album, Monster Magnet will also be embarking on a full-blown North American tour, their first full North American tour in over 10 years. Support will come from Prosthetic Records artist Zodiac. The tour is scheduled to kick off on November 14th in Grand Rapids, MI and will run through December 14th in New York.

Methuselah

Enjoy'd it. Not the biggest Monster Magnet fan but I enjoy'd it. Haven't listened to them since Dopes to Infinity came out and this sounds pretty much like a song that could've been on that album.
